Who is behind the service
ihatepdf.pro is run by Sergey Gagin, a self-employed professional income tax payer. He decides which tools to add, answers support requests and is responsible for what is published on the site. Blog articles are signed "ihatepdf team": the service team prepares them, and Sergey Gagin is the person responsible for the service.
The full seller details, including full name, tax ID and postal address, are on the Contact page. That is also where you can check who you are paying if you decide to buy a paid package.
What we do
Our aim is for everyday PDF tasks to take a couple of minutes and no installed software. The catalogue covers page operations, compression, conversion to and from other formats, password protection, signing and document comparison.
Some operations are free every day, and larger volumes are covered by paid packages and a subscription. Current terms are on the Pricing and Limits pages; we don't hide restrictions behind a sign-up.
How we handle your files
The short version. Details and the formal wording are on the File Processing and Privacy pages.
- your file is processed by our own system and is not passed to third-party file-processing or cloud AI services;
- files are not used to train AI models, and we do not make backup copies of user files;
- the result stays available for download for a limited time, then the files are deleted automatically;
- you can delete your files right away with the button on the result page;
- our staff have no interface for viewing the contents of uploaded files.
Blog and guides
The blog contains practical walkthroughs of common PDF tasks: shrinking a file to fit an email limit, combining documents into one, what the different formats are for. Articles are signed "ihatepdf team"; Sergey Gagin is the person responsible for the service.
