File Processing Policy

1. Core principle

Files are uploaded to ihatepdf.pro servers to perform the operation you selected. User files are not sent to third-party file-processing services.

2. Retention

Results are available for a limited time after processing is completed and then deleted automatically. Sessions may remain active for 4 hours after the last request. Technical metadata may be retained for up to 24 hours for diagnostics, security and abuse prevention. Server/access logs are retained for up to 24 hours.

3. Metadata

Original file names are not stored in the database. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the database. IP address and user-agent may be stored as HMAC hashes for up to 24 hours. File content hashes, if needed, are used only during processing.

4. Manual deletion

Where available, the Delete files now function deletes files, generated results and processing data before automatic deletion.

5. Backups, AI and access

We do not read user files, back them up, or use them to train AI models. Administrators and developers are not provided with a file-viewing interface.

6. Third-party services

The website may use Timeweb, Yandex Metrica, Yandex Webvisor, Yandex Direct / RTB, Google Analytics and Admitad. These services may process technical and usage data; using Google Analytics involves a cross-border transfer of de-identified data to Google LLC (USA). Yandex Webvisor records on-page interactions (pointer movement, clicks, keystrokes, page snapshots) across all pages, including the file-processing tools; filenames and text typed into forms may be captured. Uploaded file contents are not sent to these services.

7. User responsibility

The user is responsible for having the legal right to upload and process each file and for checking the final result before using or sharing it.
